The work that we do is difficult and challenging. It requires strong commitment to the community, much perseverance and the faith that, hopefully, one day in the future our services will no longer be necessary. Until that day, we will work to maintain our vigour, flexibility, and responsiveness to the needs of the vulnerable young women in Iranian society.

We will only be able to thrive and to continue with our work by the generosity of other people and their belief in our capacity to change lives. Each contribution, no matter how small, from grants to corporate gifts to individual contributions, directly improves the lives of underprivileged young women in some vital way and we value each and every donation.

Tax exemption in the UK: Omid Foundation UK (registration no. 1115318) is a UK tax-exempt charitable organisation under the rules of the Inland Revenue in the UK. Contributions and donations are tax-deductible and derive tax benefits in the UK to the fullest extent allowed by UK law.

Tax exemption in the US and remittances from the US to Iran: Omid Foundation USA (EIN no. 90-0406873) is a US tax-exempt charitable organisation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service in the US. All contribution and donations are tax-deductible in the US to the fullest extent allowed by US law as provided in Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Download the IRS Determination Letter if you need one for your records. The foundation has also been issued an OFAC license by the US Treasury (License no. IA-11134) which allows it to remit funds raised in the US to Iran.
